WWE Roadblock comes to us from the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada live on the WWE Network. The event features WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H taking on Dean Ambrose. Ambrose has done all that he can to make us think there's a chance he beats Triple H, and shakes up WrestleMania. I'd love to see WWE make a left turn and shake things up by having Dean win here, unfortunately I don't see it happening. I think WWE is set on Triple H vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Heavyweight title at WM. I think they are also set on Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar at WM, which does not excite me in the least. But, one can hope for for a shake up.
Triple H vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
This should be a good match. I think it will be more of a brawl style match in an effort to keep both wrestlers healthy. Expect a lot of outside interference from a returning Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Things break down at the end as Lesnar tries taking out Ambrose, Reigns attacks Triple H as payback for his broken nose, which eventually leads to a DQ win for Ambrose. WWE can't afford to make Ambrose look weak by getting pinned or submitted with his big showdown coming against Lesnar at WM. Also, at some point Roman Reigns needs to get some revenge on Triple H for the beating he took a few weeks ago on RAW. The question is, how will the live crowd respond to Reigns standing tall to close the show?
Winner: Dean Ambrose
Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt.
I'm looking forward to this match because it pits two of my favorite current wrestlers against each other, I just hope it goes longer than five minutes. That being said, this match SHOULD mean so much more than it does. The WWE has only themselves to blame. With so many injuries in WWE it astonishes me that Wyatt hasn't been elevated to the main event yet. The fact that Wyatt has been so poorly booked and under utilized remains one of WWE's biggest failures ...among others. Hopefully WWE comes back to this feud after WM and gives the match-up the proper build. The verbal showdown between Paul Heyman and Bray Wyatt would be worth the price of admission alone. As for their match at Roadblock, expect outside interference from the remaining Wyatts stacking the odds against Lesnar. At the end, Brock clears the ring of the Wyatt Family leaving him exposed for a fluke Bray Wyatt victory. Lesnar will make his return in the main event taking his frustrations out on Dean Ambrose.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
The New Day vs. The League of Nations for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
The New Day is the best thing going in the tag team division for WWE, and for some reason Vince McMahon is enamored with mid-card heels masquerading as a top heel faction. WWE has put a lot of effort in the LON and because of this they go over here and win tag team gold. After the match they destroy New Day making them a stronger heel faction. This positions the New Day as true babyfaces looking to get revenge on LON as they build to their rematch at WrestleMania.
Winners: League of Nations
The Revival vs. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
It seems to me American Alpha is next in line to carry the NXT Tag Team titles. Couple that with the possibility of Enzo and Cass being the next call-ups to the main roster and you get The Revival winning at Roadblock. The Revival go on to defend the tag straps against American Alpha, and the next time we see E&C it will be on the main roster.
Winners: The Revival
