Wow, WWE tackling the Roman Reigns suspension head on. I like it. Now, how about mentioning Brock Lesnar competing at UFC 200?
Is Seth delivering a babyface promo? Sure sounds like it.
I still prefer the more serious, no nonsense Dean Ambrose character.
Tell me JBL didn't just say John Cena is the greatest he's ever seen!
Good opening segment. WWE is giving away two huge matches for free tonight in Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles and Seth Rollins vs. John Cena. One can argue these matches can headline a WWE Network Special easily. WWE saying Reigns’ suspension is an embarrassment is interesting. They could've very easily shied away from it, but instead they drove home the fact Roman Reign f@&ked up.
The Backstabber into the Bank Statement looks really good. Decent women's tag match, basically meant to highlight Sasha.
They had to give Titus a win over Rusev in order to keep the feud going. The feud is growing on me...slightly.
Did Stephanie just put down a WWE Studios movie by telling Miz and Maryse there's no press or red carpet because those things are for actual theatrical movie premieres? Seriously, how tone deaf is her character?
I love when WWE brings up rules that they never adhere to whenever it suits the narrative. Case in point, Kane bringing up the 30 day rule. And speaking of Kane, what the heck happened to his character? This version is just awful.
What has been a pretty dead crowd, they're awake for Rollins vs. Cena.
Really good match between Cena and Rollins. The Club costing Cena the match was predictable, but it worked.
A squash match on WWE TV?!?
“We are hard, and we’re looking for some action.” - Heath Slater. Now that's funny. I can get down with a Social Outcasts vs. Enzo & Cass feud.
Becky Lynch would make a fantastic babyface women's champion.
The Highlight Reel > Ambrose Asylum
The Highlight Reel > Miz TV
The Titantron 6500 was sorely missed.
I can't recall the last time I was excited to see Kane wrestle. That was terrible. Maryse faked an ankle injury to get Miz out of the match? I can't see there being too much excitement over a Kane vs. Miz feud. This feels like a step down for Miz.
The best part of the tag team match between Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus vs. Apollo Crews and Cesaro is the tension between Del Rio and Sheamus. It's time to turn Alberto face. For the actual tag match, eh.
The New Day’s parody of the Wyatts didn't work for me. I'm sure the eventual match between the two teams will be good, but the comedy needs to go away for this feud.
Seth Rollins is good on commentary, not on Kevin Owens’ level, but pretty good.
Cena getting involved and costing Styles the match was predictable, but it made sense. I'm curious to see if we get a one on one rematch or a 6-Man Tag Match at Battleground.
This was a good edition of RAW. The crowd seemed hit and miss throughout the show. Although we got two PPV main event worthy matches with AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose and John Cena vs. Seth Rollins there was no way WWE was going to alter the Battleground main event. Because of that, it brought both matches down a notch.
