The Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, Kansas hosts Bellator 150: “Kongo vs. Quieroz.” The card was dealt a major blow when the main event of Bantamweight champion Marcos Galvao vs. former champion Eduardo Dantas had to be postponed due to the champion suffering from a week long illness.
The new headliner pits Heavyweights Cheick Kongo vs. Vinicius “Spartan” Quieroz. Kongo is looking for his fourth win in five fights, with the loss coming against King Mo at Bellator 134. Quieroz comes into the fight looking for his third straight win. His only loss came by TKO against former champion Alexander Volkov. A win by either fighter puts them in line for a title shot against Heavyweight champion Vitaly Minakov.
The remaining four fights include: David Rickels vs. Bobby Cooper, Kendall Grove vs. Francisco France, Gaston Reyno vs. Chuka Willis and Lena Ovchynnikova vs. Rebecca Ruth.
Cheick Kongo (23-10-2) vs. Vinicius “Spartan” Quieroz (8-3). Current Line: Kongo -160, Quieroz +140 Pick: Quieroz by decision
David Rickels (16-4-1) vs. Bobby Cooper (12-5). Current Line: Rickels -500, Cooper +400 Pick: Rickels by TKO
